Traffic Secrets: What I Learned From Russell Brunsons Newest Book
This post is sponsored by Traffic Secrets, all opinions are my own.
Ok, as a new blogger I am looking for any and all ways to drive traffic to my site. I think I have some good stuff to share, but if no one sees it, it doesn’t matter how good I think it is. I had the opportunity to read Russell Brunson’s new book, Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers. This book is full of tips and tricks on how to market to your ideal customer.
At first, I thought it would only benefit someone who is directly selling something, which I am not. However, as I got further into the book, I realized a lot of what Russell was talking about could absolutely pertain to me and my blog!
This is more than just reading, there are actions you can take immediately.
Not only does Traffic Secrets have a ton of current information in it, but it also has actional steps you can do right from the very beginning of the book. I know what you’re thinking… “ugh homework!”, but hear me out. If you want to be successful as a blogger or an entrepreneur, you have to put in the work. I’ve already learned that in my short journey into blogging. I actually had the same thought about homework” and did not take action when the book told me to. But after a few more chapters, I realized it was going to help me immensely just to get my wheels spinning and decided to take action. If you complete the 30-day challenge, you’ll learn key strategies to increase your site traffic.
It’s not you, it’s them.
It’s not usually the idea or product people come up with that is not working, it’s getting people to know you have it and to want it. Every year, tens of thousands of businesses start and fail because the creators don’t understand one essential skill: how to get people to find you. Traffic Secrets covers a ton of ways to get your name out there and continue to engage with the people who actually want your content or product.
Traffic Secrets highlights that Social Media is still a big key to success.
The last half of the book was my favorite because Russell goes into his social media tips and tricks. These are based on today’s key platforms like Facebook and Instagram. I use both of these platforms so it directly spoke to me. Although the book only addresses a few platforms, the concepts really could work for anything. I also liked that the book gave examples and real-life stories that helped me connect the dots. I definitely had a few “ah-ha” moments.
After having the opportunity to be one of the first people to read this book, I can see where the benefit would be in reading all of Russell’s books. He references them throughout Traffic Secrets, which is helpful. However, since there was a lot of usable information in this book, I’m sure the others are just as valuable.
I certainly don’t expect to have overnight traffic after reading Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers. But now I have a playbook and some actionable things to do right away. I know I will see more customers coming my way! I’ve already started thinking differently when interacting on social media and I’m excited to see what’s next!
Right now you can get Traffic Secrets book for free (only pay shipping) on the Traffic Secrets website. You can do the same 30-day challenge I’m doing and so much more!
