Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces blanco tequila
  • ½ ounce orange liqueur (I used Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao)
  • 1 ounce passion fruit pulp or puree
  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
  • ½ ounce agave syrup
  • margarita salt (optional)
  • lime wedge or edible flower (optional garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the margarita glass with salt (optional) by placing agave syrup or lime juice on the rim of the glass and then dipping the top of the glass in the margarita salt. Fill the glass with fresh ice and set it aside.
  • Add fresh ice to the cocktail shaker along with the tequila, orange liqueur, passion fruit puree, lime juice, and agave syrup. Place the top on the shaker and shake for 10-12 seconds until nice and cold.
  • Double strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with a lime wedge or edible flower if desired and enjoy. Cheers!
