This Passion Fruit Martini is a little tart, a little sweet, and full of citrusy flavor made with passion fruit puree and vodka.
Print Recipe
- 2 ounces vanilla vodka (can substitute regular or citrus vodka)
- 1 ounce passion fruit puree
- ⅓ ounce orange liqueur I used orange curacao
- ⅓ ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
- ½ ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 ounce simple syrup (can substitute agave or orgeat)
Add fresh ice to a cocktail shaker along with all of the ingredients. Add the lid and shake for 10-12 seconds until nice and cold.
Double-strain the cocktail into a martini glass. Garnish if desired and serve immediately. Enjoy!
If you can find fresh, ripe passion fruit you can make your own puree. You will need at least 2-3 passion fruits for this cocktail.
Cut each passion fruit in half and dig out the middle with a spoon. Stir the pulp and then use a mesh strainer to remove the seeds. You can also use your spoon to lightly press on the pulp to get all of the goodies you want through the sieve.
