Rice Cereal Treats
- 5 tablespoon butter
- 6 cups rice cereal
- 6 cups marshmallows
- red, white, and blue sprinkles
Prepare a 9x13 pan with non-stick spray. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add the marshmallows and stir until fully melted in the butter. Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the rice cereal and 2 tbsp sprinkles. Pour into the prepared dish and press into the pan as much as you can. Cover the top with some more sprinkles and press on the top one more time so the sprinkles stick. Place the pan in the fridge for 20 minutes to cool.
Remove the pan from the fridge and carefully remove the treats from the pan using your hands or a spatula onto a cutting board or counter. Use the cookie cutter to cut out as many stars as you can (the scrapes are edible so keep those for later or a quick treat!). Enjoy!
- These treats can be stored in an air-tight container for 3-4 days.
