Air Fryer Frozen Spring Rolls are probably one of the easiest and fasted ways to get delicious spring rolls on your plate in less than 10 minutes. Air fryers have changed the way we cook in the kitchen, and they are especially great if you enjoy frozen foods. No one wants to eat mushy fried food if it’s been frozen and now you don’t have to!
How to Cook Frozen Spring Rolls in Air Fryer
Frozen spring rolls will definitely be one of the easiest things you air fry. Preheat the air fryer at 400ºF for 2 minutes. Spray the air fryer basket with non-stick spray and add the frozen spring rolls. Spray the top of the spring rolls as well and cook for 4 minutes. Flip the spring rolls over, spray again and cook for an additional 4 minutes. Remove the spring rolls and allow them to cool slightly before serving.
Do I have to defrost the Frozen Spring Rolls before Air Frying?
No, you do not need to defrost your frozen spring rolls before you air fry them. That’s the beauty of the air fryer! Because of the hot air circulating in the air fryer, not only do the spring rolls defrost, they cook and crisp up perfectly. This makes cooking frozen food so much easier! There is no need to preheat an oven or set up a pan with oil. Yay!
How to Reheat Cold Spring Rolls in the Air Fryer
You can also use your air fryer to re-heat cold spring rolls. So, if you have leftovers from takeout or a restaurant, you can easily reheat them in your air fryer. Now, your spring rolls can be as crispy as when you first received them! Set your air fryer to 400ºF, spray a light coating of non-stick spray on top, and reheat the spring rolls for about 3-4 minutes. Don’t forget to spray your basket so they don’t stick.
Air Fryer Tips and Tricks for Frozen Spring Rolls
- Preheating your air fryer is not a necessity (unless otherwise noted by your manufacturer). However, it definitely helps speed up the cooking time and helps cook the food evenly.
- There is no need to defrost frozen spring rolls before cooking them in the air fryer.
- Non-stick spray is a must-have when air frying so don’t skip it. Not only does it help the food from sticking to the basket, but it also aids in the crisping of whatever you are air frying. You can use vegetable oil, olive oil, avocado oil, or whatever oil spray you like.
- Aluminum foil is also a handy tool when air frying for easier clean-up. You will get some residual oil spray at the bottom of your air fryer as well as some food that may fall off. Use a small piece of foil to catch as much as you can.
- Cooking times and temperatures may vary due to variations in equipment and may require adjustments.
WHICH AIR FRYER I USED FOR THIS RECIPE
I have the Mealthy CrispLid attachment for my Instant Pot and I love it! It fits right on top of my Instant Pot and has a glass lid so I can see what’s happening to my food while air frying. Instant Pot also makes an air fryer attachment. There are a lot of different types of air fryers out there now, and each one is slightly different. There are countertop air fryers, air fryer ovens, and air fryer attachments to name a few.

Ingredients
- 4 frozen spring rolls (I used Lucky Foods brand)
- non-stick spray
- sweet chili sauce or soy sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat your Air Fryer at 400°F for 2 minutes. Spray the basket of the air fryer. Place the frozen spring rolls in the basket and lightly spray the top of them. Make sure they have room around them for the hot air to circulate.
- Cook at 400°F for 4 minutes. Flip the spring rolls with your tongs, spray the tops again, and cook for an additional 4 minutes until brown and crispy. Remove the spring rolls from the air fryer and allow them to cool for a few minutes before serving. As they cool, they will crisp up a little more. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
