Why I Love This Recipe
I love this Air Fryer Frozen Spring Roll recipe because it allows me to enjoy crispy and flavorful spring rolls with minimal effort and oil. The air fryer delivers a perfect golden exterior while keeping the filling inside moist and delicious, making it a healthier alternative to traditional frying methods without compromising taste and texture.
How to Cook Frozen Spring Rolls in Air Fryer
Frozen spring rolls will definitely be one of the easiest things you air fry. Preheat the air fryer to 400ºF for 2 minutes. Spray the air fryer basket with non-stick spray, add the frozen spring rolls, and spray the top of the spring rolls as well.
Cook the spring rolls for 4 minutes. Flip them over, spray again, and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes. Remove the spring rolls and allow them to cool slightly before serving.
Do I Have to Defrost the Frozen Spring Rolls Before Air Frying?
No, you do not need to defrost your frozen spring rolls before you air fry them. That's the beauty of the air fryer! Because of the hot air circulating in the air fryer, not only do the spring rolls defrost, but they cook and crisp up perfectly.
This makes cooking frozen food so much easier! There is no need to preheat an oven or set up a pan with oil. Yay!
How to Reheat Cold Spring Rolls in the Air Fryer
You can also use your air fryer to reheat cold spring rolls. So, if you have leftovers from takeout or a restaurant, you can quickly reheat them in your air fryer. Now, your spring rolls can be as crispy as when you first received them!
Set your air fryer to 400ºF, spray a light coating of non-stick spray on top, and reheat the spring rolls for about 3-4 minutes. Don’t forget to spray your basket so they don’t stick.
Air Fryer Tips and Tricks for Frozen Spring Rolls
- Preheating your air fryer is not a necessity (unless otherwise noted by your manufacturer). However, it definitely helps speed up the cooking time and helps cook the food evenly.
- There is no need to defrost frozen spring rolls before cooking them in the air fryer.
- Non-stick spray is a must-have when air frying so don’t skip it. Not only does it help the food from sticking to the basket, but it also aids in the crisping of whatever you are air frying. You can use vegetable oil, olive oil, avocado oil, or whatever oil spray you like.
- Cooking times and temperatures may vary due to variations in equipment and may require adjustments.
Which Air Fryer I Use
There are so many different types of air fryers out there now, and each one is slightly different. There are countertop air fryers, air fryer ovens, and air fryer attachments to name a few. Whatever air fryer you use, always remember to follow the instructions from your manufacturer.
I have a COSORI Air Fryer and I love it. It does take up some counter space so make sure you have room for it. If you want a smaller option, check out the COSORI Small Air Fryer or an attachment for the Instant Pot.

Air Fryer Frozen Spring Rolls
Ingredients
- 4 frozen spring rolls (I used Lucky Foods brand)
- non-stick spray
- sweet chili sauce or soy sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat your Air Fryer at 400°F for 2 minutes. Spray the basket of the air fryer. Place the frozen spring rolls in the basket and lightly spray the top of them. Make sure they have room around them for the hot air to circulate.
- Cook at 400°F for 4 minutes. Flip the spring rolls with your tongs, spray the tops again, and cook for an additional 4 minutes until brown and crispy. Remove the spring rolls from the air fryer and allow them to cool for a few minutes before serving. As they cool, they will crisp up a little more. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
